Diving in Tenerife with Tenerife Dive Centre is fun, exciting and safe.

The Centre is owned and actively run by 2 British trained divers. David is Tenerife's only resident Course Director and Yvonne is a Master Instructor. We have the most qualified PADI instructor team on the island and can offer every PADI core course and 15 Specialities.

We can teach in English,Spanish, Polish, Russian and Hebrew (but there´s lots of long words and it takes a bit longer!). Most importantly guiding Certified divers who just want good diving is a key part of what we offer.

Our Instructor team has over 3000 dives in Tenerife alone so we know the best of what there is to see. In addition we´ve dived in every continent, well....... except Antartica!

We are located in Costa Del Silencio, close to the resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas and one minute from the harbour and seafront promenade of Las Galletas, a picturesque Spanish fishing village. If you do not have transport we are happy to collect you and drop off at your accommodation.

Our boat - Volador Escoces - Flying Scotsman

Our Valiant 7.5 m RIB with its powerful 200 hp engine will get you quickly to and from the dive sites. The maximum boat journey time is 12 minutes. Unlike most of the "operations" here we actually have both a boat of our own (no shared taxis) and a qualified boat handler on board at all times and carry 2 Oxygen kits and all the other safety equipment necessary to ensure your safety.

Diving Facilities

Apart from all the usual stuff, we are the only British centre to pump and analysis Nitrox on site. We have servicing kits for most makes of regulators and fantastic tax free equipment prices on Scubapro, Cressi, Mares, and Apeks, to name a few.

Junior Open Water Diver: Entry level certification to 12 metres for 10 and 11 years old and 18 metres 12 years and over. Includes confined water training sessions, self study and open water dives. Duration 3/4 days. Scuba Diver: Entry level certification to 12 metres. Includes confined water training sessions, self study and open water dives. Duration 2/3 days. Open Water Diver: Entry level certification to 18 metres. Includes confined water training sessions, self study and open water dives. Duration 3/4 days. Open Water Referral: Complete the confined water training in a local swimming pool, self study in the comfort of your own home and do the open water dives here in sunny Tenerife. Advanced Open Water: Certification to 30 metres. Five open water dives; deep and navigation are compulsory with three elective dives from a selection list. Duration 2/3 days. Rescue Diver: Expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level. Look beyond yourself and consider the safety and wellbeing of other divers. Although a serious course, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Duration 3 days. Emergency First Response: Gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid, whether you are a diver or a non-diver. EFR prepares you to properly handle potentially life threatening situations. Duration 1 day. Divemaster: Take the first step in your dive career. You´ll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a professional. Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
